Cat Boarding
We give cats the holiday they deserve, providing space, comfort and security. Our cattery has individual cages for sleeping and eating, with four separate outdoor secure areas for play, stretching and scratching. Let’s face it, cats don’t do much else with their day!
Cats are also fed on only the finest foods, with Iams Premium biscuits and tinned food to ensure they get a balanced meal.

Doggie Day Care
Don't want to leave your valued pet at home during the day? Neighbours getting grumpy? We have a tailor made solution for you! Just drop off before work and pick up after work at our handy location close to State Highway 59 between Plimmerton and Pukerua Bay. We will look after your pets for you and make sure they get some exercise!
Dog Boarding
Our motto for dogs is "just as happy to see us as they are to see you". Many of our dogs regard Homelands as their second home - as soon as the car turns into Airlie Road they know!
We cater for all types of dogs and have large outdoor natural grass play areas where they can socialise with other dogs. That may mean your dog gets a little muddy, especially during the winter, but hey, that’s what dogs love…. If yours isn’t overly sociable, that’s ok too, we have enough flexibility with our exercise areas to cater for individuals.
Our canine guests dine on only the finest cuisine, with Mighty Mix meal biscuits (a natural New Zealand made product), and Iams Premium biscuits mixed with dog roll for a taste sensation!
We’ll happily take on any size and breed here at Homelands, and make sure the smaller ones get to play in “Day Play Groups” instead of being alone. We don’t just do overnight stays, we also offer day care (regular or casual) so you can concentrate on work without worrying about what your dog is getting up to at home while you are gone.
We also have a dog bath facility if you prefer your dog to have that freshly shampooed smell when you pick them up.
